The Women’s Day celebrations were centered around the theme “Inspire Inclusion,” showcasing our dedication to promoting diversity and equality. The festivities began with an exciting flashmob organized by several members. The gathering provided a platform for IVL women to share their success stories and experiences, fostering a sense of community. A unique art canvas featuring thumb impressions symbolized the unity of women at IVL.
The art gallery, displayed the diverse talents of our employees. Special recognition goes to those who contributed to the gallery. An online quiz added an interactive element to the celebrations, while the guest speaker, Sqn Ldr Nadia Baba (retd), inspired us with her journey and words of encouragement. The vibrant Art Gallery & Stall showcased employees’ creative endeavors and talents. Various activities like Spot games added to the excitement.
On 7th Mar, women colleagues were greeted with flowers and chocolates, followed by a cake cutting ceremony and team gathering. Similar celebrations took place at IVL, Tvm, with an inaugural address and various activities including dance performances, quizzes, and a scavenger hunt. The ‘Gift a Surprise’ event encouraged appreciation and solidarity among participants, culminating in the crowning of lady colleagues with title badges.
Led by the organizing team, IWD 2024 @IVL served as a reminder of the importance of unity, diversity, and collective action in building a more equitable and inclusive world.
