A leading Indian pharmaceutical company specialising in active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediates and specialty chemicals, running SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
The challenge
The company had to move its legacy EXIM transactions to SAP BTP without disrupting the business.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition limits custom enhancements, so the EXIM solution had to work within SAP’s rules for extending it.
The solution
IVL implemented OptiEXIMc on SAP BTP, integrated with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition following SAP’s guidelines.
Existing business logic was carried over from the legacy solution. Pharma export documentation and compliance schemes, including Advance Authorisation, are processed and monitored in OptiEXIMc.
